I am not sure if you are following this post or not. I upload photos every a couple of days. There is not particular main theme or subject I am shooting. I am sharing whatever I have come across with.

What happen if the photos is not a D3s, but appearing with other products, will you be asking the same question? Why not seeing this as a low-key product shot?

coz you make it sounds like I did something wrong by uploading a D3s photo here.

雖所言有理! 小弟都是用D3s的,其實擁有什麼器材完全不重要,擁有出色器材者如天上繁星,擁有出色攝影技術者,則如天上流星,攝影是相當主觀的,,難度較高,有創作性的作品相信會較為容易被接受,pierokwong師兄用D3s low-key 作主題可能是比較敏感吧!

Yes, I am absolutely agree with Avio about 擁有什麼器材完全不重要. It is just a tool and what makes the difference is the brain behind the camera.

I guess there a few stages when we are looking at the photos.

First stage is looking at what is the object or theme appearing in the photos. Maybe as Avio suggested "用D3s low-key 作主題可能是比較敏感吧!" But I don't expect a non-intrusive object like the sexy D3s will offend anyone >.<

Second stage is looking at the technical aspect behind the photos.
This is what I wanna achieve in this photo. Black on Black low-key product shooting.
This is actually quite tricky and only using light to outline the sexy curve of the object. Also it gives a sense of mystery of the object as well. This is what I wanna show in the photo =D



I do hope that I misunderstand what W_Monster bro is trying to say. Also I do hope that it is just me taking things too seriously.

But I don't see if I did anything thing wrong by uploading that photo and offend someone while I just wanna show what the camera capable to do. Also try to deliver the technical aspect involved with the photo.

Sorry if my comment is a bit aggressive ...

I believe if there are more appreciation rather than "open fire", things could be beneficial and encouraging for everyone.

Seriously, the camera and lens is a good tools. We are proudly using them to produce good images. I guess it is nothing wrong if we are making a photos of our gears.

Just like the same question I ask before, if it is not our camera, our lens, maybe it won't attract comments like that >.<

Anyway, we should enjoy shooting and keep this post going =D
