Yes, I always bring my camera with me. For daily shooting, I only bring 24-105mm. If I go for a hike, I used to bring the 17-40mm and 24-105mm. But I just sold my 17-40mm(not satify with its color) in exchange of 14mm. I try to bring my tripod most of the time. I upgarded my camera from 30D at the beginning of this year. Mainly because of the low light performance.

seeing sample pictures I believe 5dMKii picture quality is better than 1D MKiii that i'm using. The question now is 1D MKiv going to have same/better/worse picture quality than 5D MKii??

with a little bit newer technology dual cpu but on a 1.3x crop factor sensor....

should I get a 5D MKii for its PQ or upgrade to 1D MKiv ?
i'm quite attracted by 5D MKii PQ :)

I think 1DX series is aim for sport shooting, diffferent way of what the 5D2 made for.

Agree with Marksman. If 5DII is kind of slow, when compare with 1Dx. But with that price, I don't see many option on the market. I mainly interested in landscape. I am very satify with it.

But the good thing is that the 5D2 is still capable for sport and bird shooting, no problem at all, just the AF doesn't have many features like 7D or 1DX.

Yes, I try bird shooting with 5dII 70-200+2x, iso 1600. It was fun.
