Drink Date 2017 - 2030
From the oldest Pinot vines and aged in 100% new oak barrels, the 2013 Pinot Noir Brauneberger Klostergarten *** opens with a remarkably delicate and floral bouquet with beautiful aromas of wild strawberries and sweet cherries. This is a beautifully refined and transparent nose of great purity and complexity. On the palate, this is a highly elegant and filigreed Pinot with a nobly silky texture, great finesse and transparency. The finish is long and intense but always fine. This Pinot Noir should compete with many of the finest Pinot Noirs from Burgundy although its architecture is built in dark slate, which gives it a completely other character.
